Background
My current role is Chief Product Officer for Explore Digits, where I define product technical vision and strategy, identify opportunities, assess risks, and make strategic decisions around technologies used in products, create product technology roadmaps, lead a team of data scientists and software engineers to execute on roadmaps, and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement.
I have spent most of my career in systems and software design and development, was a startup founder or co-founder for three companies (Avant Technologies, Embedded Toolsmiths, BrightApp), and an early stage employee in several others (Cadre Technologies, Measurement Systems, Network Appliance, Panzura). I have an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Computer Science/Machine Learning both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I have a wide range of experience across many computing disciplines from embedded systems to enterprise storage, networking, virtualization, AI/ML, and web and cloud architectures. Part of my career has been in the role of hardware and software engineer, developing microprocessor-based systems such as electronic instruments and kiosks.
